The JVA is proud to announce the addition of Samantha Dobrzynski to the JVA staff as the Event Coordinator. A Wisconsin native and no stranger to junior volleyball, Samantha will work alongside JVA Director of Events Steve Bailey, and together they will oversee all facets of JVA hosted and run tournaments.
“Samantha is a great addition to our staff. She played both high school and club volleyball so understands our world. She also comes to us with experience in event management and association management. It was apparent as early as the interview process that her personality and work ethic would blend well with our staff. She is looking forward to meeting as many members as possible so when you see Sam at convention this year, say “hi” adds JVA Executive Director Jenny Hahn.
Since graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Consumer Affairs, Samantha has utilized her skills working in association management and coaching both club and high school volleyball. She spent most of her junior club volleyball days playing for Milwaukee Sting Volleyball Club and now enjoys playing for fun with friends and family. Sam currently coaches the Mukwonago High School JV2 team.

“I am excited to be working with the JVA to be around a sport that has given me so much joy. I have made some of my best friendships through my experience with club volleyball, and continue to enjoy the sport through coaching. To be involved with something you are passionate about on a daily basis is the dream!” Sam shares.
Samantha is looking forward to being onsite and seeing the tournaments in action.
“I have been to tournaments as a player and coach, but I am learning a whole new appreciation for the work put into them.”
