JVA, the national association known for its forward-thinking leadership in junior volleyball, will continue to provide recruiting education and resources to its members through NCSA

Milwaukee – The Junior Volleyball Association (JVA) is pleased to announce that Next College Student Athlete, the largest NCAA-compliant collegiate athletic recruiting network that matches student-athletes with college coaches, will continue to supply much-needed recruiting education and resources to JVA members. This new 3-year agreement comes as NCSA enters its fifth year in helping JVA families and coaches find the best path to college for their student-athletes.

We are happy to extend our long-time partnership with NCSA,” said Jenny Hahn, executive director of JVA. “NCSA has provided our member clubs and their athletes with education and resources in the area of college recruiting since 2013. Throughout our partnership, NCSA has continued to evolve and stay ahead of the game in recruiting technology, education and services, and like the JVA, NCSA is always putting athletes first.

NCSA will be on hand for seven JVA events to provide recruiting advice for players and their families. JVA members can also take advantage of recruiting support offered online. In addition, volleyball coaches and club directors can help manage their players’ recruiting journey with NCSA Team Edition.

The college recruiting process can be such an unknown for many athletes and their parents,” said Lisa Strasman, president of NCSA. “Working with the JVA has been a great experience. We’re able to educate so many young volleyball players and help them find their best college fit. And now, with Team Edition, we can work together with club and high school coaches and reach even more athletes who want to play at the college level.

As the Official Recruiting Services provider of the JVA, NCSA will assist JVA Club Directors and Coaches with guiding their athletes through the recruiting process. In addition, NCSA will provide monthly education in the JVA Blog and volleyball specific recruiting information for players and parents. NCSA will award 15 JVA student-athletes with the All-In Award, as part of the recognition for recipients of the JVA Athleader Award. NCSA, a Reigning Champs owned company, has guided thousands of athletes and families through the recruiting process to find the best fit both academically and athletically.
