Exclusive Event for Beach Volleyball Clubs

Beach Volleyball Clubs of America and JVA partner up to bring this great event to Hermosa Beach, CA. With over 100 clubs and 600 teams in attendance, it is the largest junior beach volleyball championship in the country.

The JVA’s mission to promote the growth of junior volleyball through program and resource development, education and events supports the mission of the BVCA. Our partnership enables JVA and BVCA members to share resources, ideas, and help meet common goals with the indoor and beach community across the country.

Qualification

Individual Pairs Event

Teams are selected by their club director. Each beach club will select their top team. If a player graduated High School in the fall and went to college in the spring, she can NOT participate in the BVCA National Championships as a junior player. Day 2- Monday, July 8
  • The winner of each pool will go into a pool of 3 to decide seeding into the Gold Bracket.
  • The last place team of each pool will go into a pool of 3 to decide seeding into the bronze bracket.
  • The 2nd, and 3rd place teams will go into a pool of 3. The winner of the pool will advance into the 70 team Gold, the 2nd and 3rd place goes to 56 team Silver, 42-team bronze bracket.
  • Games will be played to 21 in seeding-round.

Wave 1: 7:15-7:30 16’s& 18’s Check in pool of 3 for seeding into Brackets

  • 8:00 Start Time – 1v3, 2v3, 1v2

Wave 2: 9:00 16’s &18’s Check in pool of 3 for seeding into Brackets

  • 9:30 Start Time- 1v3, 2v3, 1v2

11:30-6:30 Championship Bracket Gold/Silver/Bronze for 16’s & 18’s

  • MATCH PLAY, you lose you’re out of the tournament
  • The Goal is to finish the 2-3 rounds of Bracket.

Day 4- Wednesday, July 10 // Club v Club
  • The winner of each pool will go into a pool of 3 to decide seeding into the Gold Bracket.
  • The last place team of each pool will go into a pool of 3 to decide seeding into the bronze bracket.
  • In 12’s, the 2nd and 3rd place teams will go into a pool of 3. The winner of the pool will advance into the 30-team Gold, 2nd 3rd place teams into 15-team Silver, 15-team bronze bracket.
  • In 14’s, the 2nd, and 3rd place teams will go into a pool of 3. The winner of the pool will advance into the 60-team Gold, 2nd and 3rd place teams into 48-team Silver, 36-team bronze bracket.
  • Games will be played to 21 in seeding-round.

7:45 12’s and 14’s Check-in

8:15-11:15 Pool of 3 for seeding into Brackets, there will be 2 pools on one court.

11:30-6:00 Championship Bracket Gold/Silver/Bronze for 12’s & 14’s
