To host a JVA insured event, the host club must have a JVA Club Director membership

Determine your player’s age group here

JVA will allow age waivered players in club division competitions – the age waiver will allow the athlete to play at grade level with their peers, provided they are not more than one year older than the current age definition. A copy of a certified birth certificate and proof of grade (copy of school schedule, school id, report card, etc.) showing the player’s current school year and grade must be showed to the Tournament Director prior to team check-in.

Two liberos will be allowed in a line-up. The liberos can be changed each set. Either libero will be allowed to serve, but only 1 position will be designated as the serving position.

JVA will require proof of a clear background screening and APS training within the past 12 months of all adults on a junior roster. A USAV membership will be accepted proof. Coaches who need a background screening and APS training can get theirs for only $38 through JVA(this is a 2 year screen with a recheck after 1 year). As a member of JVA, we will help you market your JVA tournaments. To consolidate the number of emails that we send out, we will promote your event if requested per the schedule below.
Once a month, August through January, our office will send out 1 regional email to the clubs in your zone of the country. The email blast will include the clubs’ events in that region, JVA Presidents Day Series, JVA Challenge Series and JVA hosted events in the same region. The regional blast will only include events of clubs that have requested our help in marketing. The blast will include a note to check out our other member clubs’ events on our web page.

To be included in the regional email you will need to send the following information to members@jvavolleyball.org
