The JVA is proud to announce the addition of Steve Bailey to the JVA staff as the Director of Events. Steve will over see all facets of JVA hosted and run tournaments, and will replace Zach Colston, who took a position with Advanced Sports Media, the group that owns PrepVolleyball.com.

We are very excited to have Steve Bailey on staff. Steve did a great job for us this past season, working with Zach at our larger events as a Site Director. With his background in club volleyball and large event experience with NetLynx, Steve is well prepared to take over the position of JVA Director of Events. I am looking forward to a seamless transition and continuation of our goal to provide quality events for our member clubs and their families” shared JVA Executive Director Jenny Hahn.

Steve is no stranger to junior volleyball. He has many years of experience in club operations as former full time Associate Club Director for JVA member Michigan Volleyball Academy the past two seasons. In addition, he has collegiate women’s coaching experience at Grand Valley State and Kent State University. A Chicago native, Steve spent five seasons coaching at Club Fusion in Marengo, IL, also a JVA member club.

As I begin my 17th season in volleyball I am excited for the new challenge and opportunity that JVA has provided to me. Over the past seven years I have worked many different events for Netlynx Sports and I am pleased to be able to continue that as I embark on a new position with JVA” adds Bailey.

We are looking forward to having Steve on staff and working with our members to continue to grow and improve the JVA event experience around the country.
