The goal of the JVA Mentor Program is to connect club directors seeking guidance in any area of running a club with other experienced directors who can listen, guide, and give advice. We believe that mentorships help grow the game and provide more quality opportunities for junior players.

HOW IT WORKS:

Step #1: Apply & Get Matched

In the application we will gather information to help us match you with a mentor that can best serve your needs. (areas of need, goals, club information, preferred method of communication, etc.) CLICK HERE to apply! JVA will review your application and match you with a mentor.

Step #2: Connect, Learn, Grow!

JVA will facilitate the initial meeting for introductions and to discuss goals and expectations of the program. The responsibility will then be on the mentor/mentee to set a schedule that works for both parties. Mentorships will last a maximum of 12 weeks (unless mutually agreed upon by both parties), and will meet a minimum of 3 times outside of the initial and closing meetings.

Step #3: Closure

At the end of the 12 week period, the mentor and mentee will schedule a closing call to review goals and discuss what they learned and how they will use that to help launch their program forward. A JVA staff member will also reach out for feedback on your experience.
