Jenny has served as the JVA Executive Director since 2010. She co-founded Milwaukee Sting VBC in 1989 serving as director, head coach and board member through today. She served as Operations Director and then Executive Director of Badger Region Volleyball Association from 1998-2010. Jenny is passionate about junior volleyball and sees the JVA as a vehicle to improve the junior club experience for club directors, coaches and the club member families.
Lisa joined the JVA Staff in December 2013. She has a solid volleyball background at all levels. After completing her volleyball career at Purdue University, she served as the Student Assistant Coach followed by three seasons as the Assistant Volleyball Coach at Samford University where her responsibilities included recruiting, aiding in day to day team training, managing community service functions, and coordination of camps. In 2011 she helped guide the program to its first NCAA appearance.
Briana has been with the JVA since August 2011. Bri enjoys interacting with passionate junior volleyball club directors and coaches on a daily basis, as well as building relationships with partners who share the same vision and goals as the JVA, and are all about giving back to the juniors. Bri has 15 years of coaching experience at the grade school level all the way through the college level. She was a four year starting setter at Ohio University from 2001 to 2004, where she garnered All-American and Conference Player of the Year honors. She then continued her career competing professionally in Paris, France.
Adam Beck has been involved in the junior volleyball community for over 28 years as both a coach and tournament director. As a club coach Adam led 7 different teams to top 5 finishes in the USAV 18 or 17 Boy’s Open Divisions. Adam was also on the first Men’s coaching staff for Loyola University Chicago in 1995. In his time as a tournament director, he grew the Palos Point Series from 75 teams in 2005 to over 200 in 2020. He also spent several years coordinating the 500+ team Windy City Power League.
Erin joined the JVA Staff in February 2017. She spent most of her club volleyball years playing for Fox Cities Elite in Appleton, Wisconsin. Erin completed her volleyball career at Marquette University in 2016, and graduated with degrees in Elementary Education and Communication Studies. She was Varsity Assistant Coach at Arrowhead High School Girls Volleyball from 2018-2022.
Connor graduated from DePaul University in 2015 where he played for the men’s club volleyball program, and was an undergraduate manager of the women’s varsity program from 2013-2015. Connor started his event operations career professionally in 2015. Connor started his club coaching career in 2019, and is currently coaching with MOD Volleyball Club, where his team was a semi-finalist at the 2022 AAU National Championships in the 16 Classic division. Connor joined the JVA team in 2021.
Mandy joined the JVA Staff in October 2021. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from UW-Stout and her Masters Degree in International Administration from the University of Denver. She has a diverse background in nonprofit, private sector and government work. Mandy’s passion for volleyball began at a young age and she especially enjoys playing and watching beach volleyball. She is currently an assistant coach for a boys U14 team.
Emily joined the JVA staff in March of 2022. She spent three years as the Director of Volleyball Operations at the University of Alabama, and prior to that she was the Assistant Volleyball Coach at Eastern Tennessee State for two seasons. Emily played collegiate volleyball at Illinois State University and has four years of coaching experience at the junior club level. She earned a Master’s Degree in Sport Management from East Tennessee State University.
Katie joined the JVA Staff in September 2023. She began playing volleyball at age eleven and continues to play into adulthood. Katie coached high school volleyball for eight years and club volleyball for ten years. Her girls’ and boys’ teams competed in tournaments across the country and she helped her teams earn multiple Top 10 finishes at Nationals, including a 2nd place finish for her 18s Boys’ team. Katie studied at Washington State University and has been working in the fields of Marketing & Photography for over fifteen years.
Jess joined the JVA Staff in October 2024. She began playing volleyball at the age of ten and continues to play recreationally in her free time. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management from Elmhurst University in 2018. She started her sports operations career professionally in 2021 with 630 Volleyball Club, where she also started her club coaching career. Over the three years, her girls’ and boys’ teams competed in tournaments across the country and she helped her teams earn multiple Top 10 finishes, including a 3rd place finish for her U15 Boys’ team at the 2022 AAU National Championships in the 15 Classic Division and a 3rd place finish for her U17 Boys’ team at the 2023 AAU National Championships in the 17 Classic Division.
Mo joined the JVA staff in July of 2019. She brings an accomplished volleyball career as a former Division I athlete at Central Michigan University and then D1 coach for 18 years including assistant coach at Lamar University, Xavier University, and the University of Michigan before becoming a head coach at George Washington University. Mo is excited to continue a career with the sport of volleyball and welcomes her responsibilities with the JVA.
TJ Staples brings over 20 years of extensive experience as a player in both beach and indoor volleyball, coupled with 16 years of coaching expertise. As a Coach and Director, TJ has helped over 55 athletes secure Division 1 Beach Volleyball scholarships to some of the nation’s most prestigious universities, including UCLA, USC, TCU, Arizona, Texas, Stanford, and more. During his time as a Coach and Club Director he has led teams to over 20 Open Level National Championships across AVP, BVCA, P1440, and USAV. TJ’s club was named the Best Beach Club in the Nation for three consecutive years (2021, 2022, and 2023) and in 2023, his program made history as the first Club to earn medals in every age group at a single BVCA National Event.
