Exclusive Event for Beach Volleyball Clubs

Beach Volleyball Clubs of America and JVA partner up to bring this great event to Hermosa Beach, CA. With over 100 clubs and 600 teams in attendance, it is the largest junior beach volleyball championship in the country.

The JVA’s mission to promote the growth of junior volleyball through program and resource development, education and events supports the mission of the BVCA. Our partnership enables JVA and BVCA members to share resources, ideas, and help meet common goals with the indoor and beach community across the country.

Qualification

Individual Pairs Event

Teams are selected by their club director. Each beach club will select their top team. If a player graduated High School in the fall and went to college in the spring, she can NOT participate in the BVCA National Championships as a junior player. If you are doing a gap year, please email the BVCA. View Tournament Guidelines HERE.

Below you will find all the additional information you need for the BVCA National Championship.

Age Divisions

18’s- Players Graduation year of 2025 & 2026

16’s- Players Graduation year of 2027 & 2028

14’s- Players Graduation year of 2029 & 2030

12’s -Players Graduation year of 2031 & 2032 and younger

Club vs Club Championship

OPEN Division (5 vs 5): A total of 24 squads will qualify.

After day 1 at the National Championship, the 3rd and 4th place squads from each pool will play in a Tier 2 Open Championship.

CLUB Division (3 vs 3): A total of 24 squads will qualify.

After day 1 at the National Championship, the 3rd and 4th place squads from each pool will play in a Tier 2 Club Championship.

FUTURES Division (3 vs 3): The highest ranking 8 clubs based on RANKING points (excluding points of clubs with multiple teams).

2024 Results

Medal Ceremony and awards are given out to individual teams and the overall Best Beach Club Championship Trophy to the beach club that scores the highest amount of points in each age division. View Individual Pairs Results here.

Day 2- Monday, July 8	The winner of each pool will go into a pool of 3 to decide seeding into the Gold Bracket. The last place team of each pool will go into a pool of 3 to decide seeding into the bronze bracket. The 2nd, and 3rd place teams will go into a pool of 3. The winner of the pool will advance into the 70 team Gold, the 2nd and 3rd place goes to 56 team Silver, 42-team bronze bracket. Games will be played to 21 in seeding-round. Wave 1: 7:15-7:30 16’s& 18’s Check in pool of 3 for seeding into Brackets 8:00 Start Time – 1v3, 2v3, 1v2 Wave 2: 9:00 16’s &18’s Check in pool of 3 for seeding into Brackets 9:30 Start Time- 1v3, 2v3, 1v2 11:30-6:30 Championship Bracket Gold/Silver/Bronze for 16’s & 18’s MATCH PLAY, you lose you’re out of the tournament The Goal is to finish the 2-3 rounds of Bracket. The winner of the pool will advance into the 60-team Gold, 2nd and 3rd place teams into 48-team Silver, 36-team bronze bracket.
