The JVA is pleased to announce a partnership with USSCI to help volleyball athletes that are impacted by the unexpected. Every year thousands of athletes find themselves unable to play the sport they love due to injuries, mental illness, or even unexpected financial hardship. USSCI provides sports fee insurance that insures the financial commitment parents make to have their athlete on a team. Through this partnership, JVA member clubs will be able to provide a comprehensive refund policy to their parents through USSCI’s program.

Our entire industry was caught off guard by COVID-19″ states JVA Executive Director Jenny Hahn. “Just like our association, I’m sure every club and every family has created a ‘lessons learned’ list for the future. We are pleased to partner with USSCI to offer the families of JVA clubs a plan to insure themselves against future losses related to a season ending experience.”

What is Sports Fee Insurance?
Sports fee insurance provides peace of mind to parents who commit to a non refundable youth sports program. This coverage is comprehensive, so if something happens to an athlete on or off the court they are covered. With two options to choose from it is easy to choose the coverage that best suits each family’s needs. When claims are paid they either reimburse parents directly or take over future payment obligations and pay the sports club the remainder of the fees due for the season.

About USSCI
US Sports Club Insurance was founded by vetran insurance experts who saw the need for sports fee insurance in the competitive sports market. They are also parents who recognize the value of youth sports as well as the growing investment parents make for their children to participate. USSCI believes that it should not cost the parents or club’s when injuries or other perils occur and prematurely end a player’s participation on the team. For more information on USSCI click HERE.
