The JVA is pleased to announce the indoor junior volleyball athletes selected as 2020 Ultra Ankle® JVA AthLeaders. This year the JVA awards committee has selected 6 male and 20 female student athletes who are at the top of their class, and along with academic excellence, they exemplify outstanding volleyball performance, leadership, responsibility, and selflessness.

Through the tumultuous club season, this year’s honorees have displayed consistency in their dedication, hard work, and discipline as well-rounded high school student-athletes. The JVA received several hundred nominees from JVA Club Directors across the country of individuals that go above and beyond to positively represent their club.

As coaches, we can get tied up in the x’s and o’s of the game and sometimes lose sight of the initiatives our student athletes have taken the lead on outside of the gym” says JVA Director of Member Development Lisa Wielebnicki.  “The determination and perseverance exemplified by student athletes is an uplifting note in these challenging times. Their achievements are nothing short of inspiring, dedicated, and selfless, as they have made a tremendous footprint not only in their schools, but also in their communities.  Please take the time to read about these deserving athletes as we can all take away something positive in what they are doing to develop their future and give back to society.”

We will honor the recipients of this award during the Virtual JVA Player Awards Reception on June 23rd at 2:00 PM ET. More details of the live stream Reception will be available soon. Click HERE to learn more about the award
