“Coaching is releasing a person’s potential to maximize their own performance. It is helping them to learn rather than teaching them.”

The JVA is pleased to announce the 25 individuals honored with the 2022 JVA Junior Club Service Award. This award recognizes the dedication and loyalty of the coaches, club directors and administrators of JVA member clubs who have been active in junior volleyball for at least 20 or more years. Seven recipients have coached for thirty or more years! We are incredibly grateful to these individuals for their service to junior volleyball.

“Coaching is more than just x’s and o’s. It is mentorship, guidance, and patience,” said JVA Director of Member Development, Lisa Wielebnicki. “This year the JVA is pleased to announce these 25 astounding award winners that have shown all of these key traits of a coach. Thank you for your countless hours of dedication and leadership towards these growing student athletes as we are truly grateful for you.”

The honorees will be celebrated during the JVA Annual Gathering on Wednesday, December 14th at 4:45pm in Omaha in conjunction with the AVCA Convention. Click here to RSVP for this event.

This award is presented by 431 Sports, the Official Team Dealer of the JVA that offers the best product selection, customer service and exclusive benefits and rewards to volleyball clubs. Recipients will receive a $50 gift card plus free shipping to the JVA store on behalf of 431 Sports.

Congratulations to the 2022 JVA Junior Club Service Award Recipients!
