NAPERVILLE, ILLINOIS (May 19, 2025)–  The JVA is pleased to announce the male and female student athletes named the 2025 JVA Athleaders powered by VKTRY Performance Insoles.  The 27 distinguished honorees display academic excellence, leadership, responsibility, and acts of selflessness, in addition to exceptional volleyball performance.

“We are proud to recognize 27 outstanding junior volleyball athletes as recipients of the JVA Athleader Award. These young men and women exemplify what it means to lead with integrity, humility, and heartboth on and off the court. These athletes portray the values of learning, leadership, and generosity while setting a meaningful example for everyone in our sport. As an organization who deeply believes in the power of sport to shape character and community, we are inspired by each of these athletes. We celebrate their achievements and can’t wait to see the incredible impact they will continue to make in their communities and beyond,” said JVA Executive Director, Lisa Wielebnicki.

The JVA Athleaders powered by VKTRY Performance Insoles were nominated by a JVA Club Director during the nomination period in April. Recipients will be presented with a distinguished award for their achievement.

“VKTRY is proud to support the next generation of leaders through the 2025 JVA Athleader Award. These student athletes are not only dedicated to their sport, they give back to their local communities and high schools, and we’re committed to helping them stay at the top of their game,” said Travis Descoteaux, Senior Manager, Partnerships & Endorsements.

Made from full-length, 100% aerospace-grade carbon fiber, VKTRY Insoles (“VKs”) have been scientifically proven to help athletes jump higher and land softer. Research shows the average increase in vertical to be +1.6 inches. In addition, VKs also help with lateral explosiveness (+9.3% increase in rate of force development). And a season-long study with 263 Division 1 athletes showed a reduction in foot injuries (-41%) and lower leg injuries (-22%). Thousands of professional and collegiate athletes trust VKTRY Insoles to enhance their performance and stay at the top of their game.

All JVA Athleaders  will receive preferred pricing through a seamless process for athletes to access their own VKs.
