In September, JVA  set up the “Rally Against Harvey and Irma” fund to help the people affected by the flooding and hurricanes. The fund raised over $6,000 and JVA is making sure every penny donated goes to a good and worthy cause. Recently, JVA donated $1,000 to the Greater Houston Community Foundation for Hurricane Harvey relief, and $1,000 to Florida Community Foundation for Hurricane Irma relief. But the efforts do not stop there.

The JVA will also allocate money raised by the fund to help repair and replace damaged equipment and facilities of JVA member clubs. This is not be a short-term project. It will take months and even years for many clubs to rebuild.

The JVA will continue to challenge our JVA community to help make a difference. We thank those who have donated to the cause:

As an association of united junior volleyball club directors, we need to continue to work together to grow our sport, and in times of need, we can lean on each other. This is one of those times.
