SummerFest is a three-day tournament hosted by JVA at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Teams of any affiliation are welcome to participate and will be insured!
This tournament features top teams from all over the country and we ensure a high quality event for participants.

Housing for SummerFest Opens October 14th, 2026 at 1 P.M. CT
It is required that a JVA Insurance Waiver be completed every season by every player and staff member attending a JVA event.
**JVA does NOT have player memberships. You do not need to log in to complete the JVA Insurance Waiver. Player waivers cannot be edited once submitted. Completed waivers are sent directly to your volleyball club.
All adults listed on a roster for JVA-insured tournaments must complete the JVA Background Screen and Trusted Coach training. Clubs cannot submit rosters until every adult listed has a cleared background screen and completed coaches training. For more information about JVA’s background screening requirements, click here.
Adults with a verified AAU background screen may be added to a JVA roster and are not required to complete the JVA Background Screen form. JVA does NOT accept USAV background screens.

Player & Staff Waiver Forms and the OH Coaches Sign-in Form must be completed prior to credential pick-up. Players and coaches will not be allowed inside the playing hall without their credentials.
No roster changes can be made for adults without clear JVA or AAU background screens at team check-in. Adults without proper screening and training will not receive credentials.

College coaches should register through University Athlete.
The state of Ohio has developed guidelines and materials to inform and educate youth athletes participating in an athletic activity, their parents, and their coaches about the nature and warning signs of sudden cardiac arrest.
All club directors or coaches will need to turn in a COACHES SIGN IN FORM at team check in verifying that all parents, players and coaches affiliated with our organization have completed all necessary requirements for the Sudden Cardiac Awareness training (Lindsay’s Law) AND Concussion training required by the State of Ohio.
Volleyball Rental: JVA does not have volleyball rental available. All teams are responsible for bringing their own volleyballs for warmups. JVA game balls will be provided.
Athletic Trainers: Athletic Trainers will be available inside the playing hall by the tournament desk.
Facility Rules: No outside food, beverage, or tailgating allowed. No coolers will be allowed. There will be chairs provided along each court for spectators. Camping chairs will NOT be allowed in the convention center due to a potential fire hazard.
