Milwaukee Wisconsin (November 30, 2018)  The JVA is proud to announce the nine beach clubs named 2019 JVA Sponsor Clubs. In it’s fourth consecutive year of the JVA Sponsor Program, the nine beach clubs join the 64 indoor clubs to set yet another record year. As a member driven and member centered organization, JVA will be giving the nine beach clubs a portion of the $200,000 being awarded to JVA Sponsor Clubs this season.

We are excited to announce our JVA Beach Sponsor Clubs for the 2018-2019 season” shares JVA Director of Member Development Lisa Wielebnicki. “Beach volleyball continues to grow and truly establish its own identity in the volleyball space. These clubs are very deserving of this honor. They have a desire to not only teach the game, but to also develop young athletes who love the game. The JVA is thrilled to give back to its member clubs each year because their hard work and dedication needs to be recognized!

From it’s inception in 2006, the JVA has been a member driven association focused on the prosperity of its members, along with the goal of unifying clubs. These guiding principles, as well as junior volleyball specific education and resources, have led to a steady growth in membership from nearly 900 clubs in 2016 to over 1,200 in 2018. The growth sparked yet another record number of applicants for the JVA Sponsor Program this year, and nearly doubling the number of beach clubs.

The JVA Beach Sponsor Clubs will receive monetary support from the JVA as a reward for promoting the JVA brand, supporting the JVA mission, and growing JVA at the regional and national level.

The clubs listed below applied for the beach club sponsor program, and were selected based on their ability to meet sponsor level criteria, their length of membership and support of JVA, and their past contributions to JVA educational resources. Among the participants under the JVA Sponsorship Program, there are over 1,600 junior beach athletes in addition to over 2,000 indoor junior volleyball teams, all of whom will be sporting the JVA logo during competition this season.
