The JVA is pleased to announce the 20 female indoor junior volleyball athletes selected as 2019 Ultra Ankle® JVA AthLeaders. These student athletes are at the top of their class, and along with academic excellence, they exemplify outstanding volleyball performance, leadership, responsibility, and selflessness.
This year’s honorees display consistency in their dedication, hard work, and discipline as a well-rounded high school student-athlete. They were nominated by their Club Director as an individual that goes above and beyond to positively represent their club.
“This year’s list of honorees is very impressive” states JVA Executive Director Jenny Hahn. “These young women represent some of the best and brightest in their community, who are making such a positive impact on others. It is truly inspiring to read what they can accomplish while attending school and playing competitive volleyball. They give me confidence in the future of our sport and our junior community.”
The Ultra Ankle® JVA AthLeaders represent a variety of JVA member clubs nationwide. All honorees are freshman, sophomores or juniors in high school during the 2018-2019 school year. Recipients of this award will be presented with an award at the JVA Player Awards Reception on June 24th at 2:00 PM ET during the AAU National Championships in Orlando, FL.
