Here is your Step-by-Step Guide for your club to be a JVA member, be JVA insured, and comply with JVA guidelines for safety

Step #1: Membership

If you have not already done so, purchase your membership! The Club Director membership is the only membership needed, but if you would like benefits for your coaches the Organizational or Club Coach Only memberships are great options! You can view all of your MEMBER BENEFITS HERE.

Step #2: Background Screen/APS Training

All adults on JVA insured event rosters will need to have a cleared JVA Background Screen and pass the APS training certification. It is $38 for a two year screen/certification. You will need to send the link below to all adults that need to complete a JVA background screen and APS.

JVA does recognize AAU background screens. If you are an AAU Member with a current and clear background screen, you will not have to complete the JVA background screen form.

Step #3: Insurance

Program Insurance:
$110/indoor team & $10/beach athlete.
This covers the players and coaches every time they step in the gym (tryouts, practice, events, camps, etc.) Your athletes and coaches need to fill out insurance forms either electronically.

Event Insurance:
JVA event insurance allows teams of any national affiliation (USAV, AAU, or non-affiliated) to participate in your events.
One Day Tournament- Beach: $3.50/team Indoor: $12.00/team
Two-Three Day Tournament- Beach: $5.00/team Indoor: $18.00/team

Step #4: Access Forms

Access all of your coaches completed background screens, all insurance forms and all player waivers on your club page.

Players and parents can use this link to complete their Insurance Waiver.

Your JVA member club page is accessible to their Club Directors on your membership account page.

Club Health Insurance

The JVA Club Health Insurance Program offers JVA member clubs the opportunity to own their own health insurance policy under the JVA umbrella.

Sports Fee Insurance

Sports Fee Insurance protects the registration fees of a JVA member club. If a player is unable to participate in the sport for a covered peril the parent’s financial obligation is paid to the club or reimbursed to the parent. It can be purchased by the club for all players or offered to the parents as optional coverage.
