Milwaukee Wisconsin (October 22, 2018) – The JVA is pleased to announce a long-term partnership with The Art of Coaching Volleyball, a company that offers high-quality coaching education through clinics and a website that delivers drills, practice plans, courses, video tutorials and coaching certification programs as part of its daily content.

The JVA, formed in 2006, emphasizes five guiding principles, the first is “Member Driven.” To support this principle, all JVA profits are re-invested into resources and benefits for JVA members. In addition to giving $200,000 back to JVA member clubs through the JVA Sponsor Program, the JVA will also provide premium Art of Coaching memberships at no charge to all JVA member clubs through this new three-year agreement.

We are so excited to announce the JVA partnership with Art of Coaching” shares JVA Executive Director Jenny Hahn. “The missions of our organizations align perfectly and will further our goal of providing education and resources to our members. The initial offering of a free premium membership to every one of our club director members is only the beginning of what is to come over the next few years as JVA and AOC work together on additional resources for club directors and facility managers. This is truly a WIN for our members and improving the quality of our sport.

With the partnership, The Art of Coaching Volleyball becomes the Official Certification Program of the JVA. The two organizations will collaborate to provide a wide selection of educational benefits for junior volleyball directors, coaches and administrators.

We’re excited about partnering with the JVA and supporting its commitment to growing the game and developing opportunities for young volleyball players and coaches,” says Art of Coaching CEO Terry Liskevych, the former USA national team coach who founded AOC with Penn State coach Russ Rose and former Stanford coach John Dunning. “We look forward to working closely with the JVA to produce a comprehensive educational platform for all of its coaches.

JVA members will be receiving an email with more information on this partnership and how to take advantage of the premium AOC membership.
