The JVA is proud to announce the addition of Adam Beck to the JVA staff as the Director of Events. Adam’s main responsibility will be management of the JVA Tournament Series, which includes seven events.  He will also act as a resource for member clubs related to tournament management.

“We are thrilled to have Adam join our staff.  Along with Adam’s extensive experience in managing events, he also brings to JVA his experience and relationships with boys volleyball.  A higher level of involvement in boys volleyball was one of our goals coming out of our strategic planning session in 2018 that was derailed by COVID.  We are excited to move forward with that goal,” shares JVA Executive Director, Jenny Hahn.

Adam Beck has been involved in the junior volleyball community for over 28 years as both a coach and tournament director. As a club coach Adam led 7 different teams to top 5 finishes in the USAV 18 or 17 Boy’s Open Divisions. Adam was also on the first Men’s coaching staff for Loyola University Chicago in 1995. In his time as a tournament director, he grew the Palos Point Series from 75 teams in 2005 to over 200 in 2020. He also spent several years coordinating the 500+ team Windy City Power League.

“I am beyond excited to be named the Director of Events for the JVA.  Junior volleyball has been a lifelong passion of mine and to be able to join an organization that is 100% focused on junior volleyball is incredible! I can’t wait to get started on this journey with the JVA,” says JVA Director of Events, Adam Beck.

Adam lives with his girlfriend, Julie and her daughter Cori (22), son Ethan (18), and their dog Sarge (6). He also has a son Ryan (20).
