A cyber risk assessment is a series of questions about your club’s network vulnerability, cybersecurity preparedness, and the controls you have in place to prevent and respond to cybersecurity attacks. Assessing your club’s cybersecurity risks can arm you with valuable information about your current cybersecurity status and areas you need to improve. The questionnaire can be completed in less than a half hour and offers many benefits for your club.

Once you’ve completed the card, you can tally up the scores for a final result that classifies your risk level. Cybersecurity is an ongoing process that requires attention to detail and persistence. If your score falls into a moderate risk or high-risk category, your scorecard can act as a detailed template for improvement. Revisit the questions you marked “unsure” or “no” and learn how you can turn those responses into “yes”. Every improvement will get you closer to the low risk category.
